A Valuable Health Option

Whether to replace hormones or not has been a question for some time now. Hormone replacement therapy, or HRT, has been used for many decades, most often improperly.  It is now gaining wide recognition to be a valuable part of any health program today.

Optimally, when our bodies are given the proper foods and low stress environment, our hormone levels maintain themselves. We age and live with full vitality. In our ever increasingly toxic, nutritionally deficient, and highly stressful modern world, our bodies simply can’t keep up.  Our hormone levels become depleted at younger and younger ages.

We absolutely need proper hormonal support today to maintain health and vitality. But all hormones are different.  How we test and replace them is now becoming a much more perfect science than it used to be.

Synthetic hormones are powerful and have dangerous side effects. There is a time and place to use them if used safely with proper medical guidance. However, from a holistic point of view, our hormonal needs should always be done with organic, bio-identical compounds that are exactly what our bodies are missing. Skilled physicians and compound pharmacists can now test for and create these unique individualized prescription products. They come in encapsulated pill form and are taken easily like male and female vitamins, every day.

We no longer need painful and tedious injections and implantable pellets, messy and inaccurately dosed creams, and synthetic and toxic medicines.

There are many hormones in question, and each is unique. Some need to be exactly and optimally restored. Some may very well restore themselves given the proper medical and health guidance.  Some are actually dangerously high and in need of removal. Unfortunately the majority of hormone clinics today create even more imbalanced hormones as they improperly test and prescribe these potentially dangerous chemicals.

New Medicine Foundation physicians and coaches are skilled in all of these aspects. Testing is comprehensive but easy. Products are individually compounded. They are usually available in easy to take oral capsules. They are completely natural, bio-identical, and free of toxic or synthetic chemicals and fillers.

Proper hormonal balancing is now becoming perfected, easily, and affordably.  Hormone balancing is a key component to a healthy and thriving life.  Hormone balancing offers a tremendous benefit for physical and mental well-being.

Call us today to experience BHRT (bio-identical hormone replacement therapy) done the right way, from the comfort of your home, the New Medicine way.

Prices start as low as $30 a month for some compounds after basic testing and information is obtained.

syntheticQ. Hello Doc, I am supposed to begin taking hormones as a result of a recent visit to my doctor. I’m having second thoughts on using a synthetic hormone. Can you shed some more insight about taking hormone replacements that might ease my fears? There is so much conflicting information out there that I just don’t know what to think. Thank you. Vicky, Florida

What is DHEA …. Now you know!

Posted in Hormones on 03.09.11

DHEA is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands.  Your body uses DHEA for the production of testosterone and estrogen.  DHEA can help prevent osteoporosis, improve adrenal failure issues, improve sexual function in men and women and can alleviate depression.  Although it is sold over the counter as a vitamin or nutritional supplement, it is not a nutrient and is usually manufactured through a synthetic chemical process.  DHEA should only be administered by a doctor that understands hormones and  hormone balancing.

Visit us on Wednesday’s for the Doc and Donna show and learn more – 8:30pm Eastern time.  Email us for more information.   donna@avoiceforchange.com or read more at http://www.avoiceforchange.com/mystory.html
