What It Does
Why You Need to Supplement

Vitamin C does so much to help the body thrive.  PureCell Pure C is 100% pure ascorbic acid.

Vitamin C helps the body’s immune system by supporting antibody responses, white blood cell function and activity, and helps maintain normal interferon levels. Vitamin C is one of the most potent dietary antioxidants, providing nutritional support to all functions of the body.

Supplementing with the correct type of vitamin C supports iron absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and is an important component of collagen synthesis. Vitamin C also assists in tissue formation.

The Pure Cell brand Vitamin C comes in easy-to-digest vegetarian capsules available from New Medicine Foundation.  Each container consists of 120, 1,000 mg capsules, that are easy to swallow or can be opened and poured into liquid.  Keep a supply on hand and make Vitamin C a part of your daily supplement intake.

If you are interested in virtual health, visit the New Medicine Foundation website. Dr. Edward W. Pearson and the team of caring, supportive, informed and well-trained staff will guide you through the process. Learn how to heal from the inside out without the use of pharmaceutical medications. For the most part, big pharma medications do nothing to heal the body and everything to medicate away the symptoms. That is known as “sick” care. We are all about “health” care.

New Medicine Foundation Vaccine SavvyMay you all thrive in great health, wellness and happiness,

Health care, we care, virtually, connecting with people around the world.

By law, we have to say this…. “These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.” Silly but when the FDA is in bed with big pharma, we can’t expect anything but silly.

cholecalciferol-vitamin-d-tablet-words-pills-lemon-ginger-55857158VITAMIN D – 5,000 IU’S DAILY

Vitamin D is a strong immune modulator, we always think of it for autoimmune diseases or for SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder, a type of depression). But vitamin D can improve intestinal permeability which reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines. D can increase your Natural Killer cells as well as certain infection-fighting T cells. Since we’re all hiding in the shade, it’s easy to realize why America’s so D-deficient. Proper D levels reduces susceptibility to all sorts of infections. And also, D controls the expression of more than 900 genes involved hundreds of bodily functions. 900 genes! Do you realize when you talk about methylation, you are talking about just ONE gene?Vitamin D regulates 900 different genes, including methylation. Important genes in the vitamin D signaling system, such as those coding for your receptors (termed VDR for vitamin D receptor) and your enzymes 25-hydroxylase (CYP2R1), 1α-hydroxylase (CYP27B1), and 24-hydroxylase (CYP24A1) can be silenced by DNA methylation. Don’t worry too much about all those genes, the point is D is important for methylation as well as supporting health, and auto-immune reactions. There are many high-quality brands of vitamin D at any health food store. If you’d like to explore my line, I’ve created a D supplement that is suspended in non-GMO EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and the softgels are conveniently tiny for having 5,000 IU.

Let The Sunshine In But Take Your D3

Posted in Vitamin A, C, D, E, Vitamins on 28.08.13

d3Summer is well under way and you probably think you are getting enough sunshine and as a result, are producing enough D3 right? Think again as you may be wrong especially if you are using sunscreen. You might be surprised to know that D3 is not a vitamin as many call it. D3 is actually a hormone that is produced when the sun comes in contact with the skin. The skin is the biggest organ the human body has. As we age, we have less ability to convert UV rays into D3.

Most everyone should be taking 5,000iu’s of D3 a day. Many should even take more until they get their reserves up to par. Get out in the sun and skip the sun screen. The sun doesn’t cause cancer. Toxic sunscreens, poor diet and poor health does.

The “Yolks” on You!

Posted in FACT!, Health, Vitamin A, C, D, E, Vitamins on 16.04.13

IDKT (I Didn’t Know That) …

egg yolk…egg yolks were so nutritionally beneficial. Heck, I hear all the time to eat the whites of the eggs only and leave the yolks behind. Turns out that this just isn’t true. Yes, the white and the yolk are packed with vitamins B12, B6 and B9 (folate) but did you know that only the yolk has vitamins A, D, E and K as well? Seems silly to me to toss those nutrients down the garbage disposal. AND, I just learned that

Is it Vitamin D, Hormone D or Sunshine D?

Posted in Vitamin A, C, D, E on 14.09.11

I keep reading more and more about the importance of Vitamin D and how deficient we are as Americans. I’m seeing staggering statistics like 3 out of 4 Americans are deficient in Vitamin D and I’m chilled to the bone because I know that a D deficiency can lead to diseases and/or can make existing conditions that Americans are faced with today, worse. That’s right, if you are facing challenges with regard to heart disease, cancer, infections of most any type, diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia, MS, obesity, psoriasis, osteoporosis, etc, your challenges are increased if you are deficient in D.

Vitamin D deficiency is so bad that it is estimated that it is affecting more than a billion people. What most don’t know is that Vitamin D isn’t really a vitamin. Nope, its classification should be that of a hormone. That’s right. Hormones are produced by specific organs in the body and vitamin D is produced by

D3 – Vitamin or Hormone?

Posted in Vitamin A, C, D, E on 14.08.11

Q – Is vitamin D3 a vitamin or a hormone?

A – Vitamin D3 is actually a hormone manufactured by our skin through sun exposure. Just spend a half hour a day in the sun and your body will manufacture in excess of 10,000 iu’s of D3 all by itself. I personally make sure I get 5,000 iu’s of D3 a day. I also make sure I get some sunshine every day. It is good for you and doesn’t cost anything. And I skip the sunscreen. Besides being toxic to the body, it hinders the body’s ability to produce D3.
